Tom Durham

Tom Durham was born in Leeds. He joined the Harrow Youth Theatre and studied at the Rose Bruford College.   He played and toured for Bristol Old Vic, was in the first Gateway Company at Chester and progressed to the National Theatre.   He is known for his interpretations of many poets, particularly Edward Thomas, Hopkins and the richly rewarding David Jones – whom the Durham family encountered when Tom was a boy of 11.   Tom has also been involved with the Temenos Academy founded by the late Kathleen Raine, for whom he has recorded a CD – A Selection of David Jones “Fragments”.
